How we work
Our process keeps pets in the room from the first measurement. We do not ask you to board animals elsewhere while trades arrive — instead we phase work around feeding times and familiar sleeping spots.
First conversation and home visit
You contact us with your Dublin address, room list, and a short description of each pet. We confirm availability and send a visit confirmation by email with a fee of €180 for a ninety-minute on-site session across up to three connected rooms.
During the visit we measure door widths, stair turns, radiator positions, and existing Georgian or Victorian details that must stay intact. We note where animals eat, sleep, and enter from the garden or street.
Material sampling with animals present
Within five working days we leave a box of fabric and floor swatches at your home. We ask you to live with them for a week — let the cat walk across the chenille, spill water near the tile sample, observe which colours show terrier hair least.
Feedback happens by email or a short studio appointment on South William Street. We refine the palette before any joinery drawings or furniture orders are placed.
Layout proposals and trade coordination
You receive hand-drawn layout options showing furniture scale, scratch-post placement, and storage for leads, food, and litter. For built-in work we liaise with Dublin joiners who understand conservation-area fixings in brick and lathe-and-plaster walls.
Installation is booked in stages so pets retain access to at least one familiar room each night. We attend the final styling day to place beds, throws, and hooks — and leave a care sheet listing approved cleaning products per material.
Timeline for a typical Dublin room
A single living room in Portobello or Rathmines usually moves from first visit to styled install in six to ten weeks, depending on custom upholstery lead times. Georgian drawing rooms with conservation considerations may add two weeks for sample approvals.
See pricing for package fees in EUR or contact us to hold a visit date.
What we need from you
Honest notes about scratching, chewing, or anxiety help us specify correctly. Vaccination and training records are not required — we are stylists, not veterinarians — but we do ask that animals are safely contained when sharp tools or adhesive fumes are present on site.
If you rent, bring your landlord's written consent for any fixings before we order built-in pieces.
